Cloud Solutions Engineer

Role Purpose
The Cloud Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid environments. This role supports cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and ongoing optimization while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure on public, private, and hybrid platforms
- Implement cloud migration and modernization strategies
- Configure and manage virtual machines, storage, networking, and cloud services
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, security, and availability
- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and scalability
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Collaborate with security and IT teams to enforce cloud best practices
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide technical support
- Maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures
Technical Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud networking
- Understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep)
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
- Experience with monitoring and backup solutions
- Understanding of scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python

Experience & Certifications
Preferred:
- 3–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or systems engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305), AWS Solutions Architect Associate, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer
Working Requirements
- Ability to provide on-call support when required
- Occasional after-hours maintenance and deployment activities
- Hybrid or on-site work based on project requirements
