Cybersecurity Analyst

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to help protect our organization’s digital assets and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will monitor security events, investigate potential threats, respond to incidents, and support the continuous improvement of our cybersecurity posture. You will work with modern security technologies to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security events, alerts, and logs across enterprise environments.
- Investigate, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
- Perform threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis.
- Monitor SIEM, EDR, and security monitoring platforms.
- Assist with incident response, containment, recovery, and reporting.
- Review security logs and investigate suspicious activities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices.
- Maintain security documentation, reports, and incident records.
- Support compliance with organizational security policies and standards.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, or Elastic.
- Understanding of firewalls, endpoint protection, and identity security.
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and network security concepts.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and threat intelligence.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft 365 Security, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) are a plus.

Experience & Certifications
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SC-200, SC-900, CEH, CySA+, or equivalent are preferred.
