IT Infrastructure Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure that supports business-critical operations. The ideal candidate will manage servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
- Monitor and optimize IT infrastructure to ensure maximum performance and availability.
- Manage Windows and Linux server environments.
- Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
- Deploy and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Configure and support enterprise storage and networking infrastructure.
- Perform infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and resolve incidents.
- Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and networking teams to implement infrastructure best practices.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS).
- Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and automation tools is an advantage.

Experience & Certifications
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104), VMware VCP, Microsoft Windows Server, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
Working Requirements
- Ability to provide on-call support for critical infrastructure when required.
- Willingness to perform scheduled maintenance outside business hours.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable IT operations.
